SAN ANTONIO – The Dallas Cowboys listed defensive end DeMarcus Ware and running back DeMarco Murray as doubtful for Sunday’s game at Philadelphia, meaning there’s a 75 percent chance they won’t play in the battle of 3-3 teams for the NFC East lead.
Neither player practiced this week after suffering their injuries in last week’s 31-16 win over Washington.
Ware told reporters Friday in Irving he would test his thigh strain during warm-ups Sunday. He’s never missed a game in his career, playing in 134 straight.
Murray did rehab work on the field Friday on his sprained left knee. He’s never played a full season since entering the league in 2011, missing a total of nine games.
Second-year pro Kyle Wilbur is set to replace Ware in the starting lineup. Rookie Joseph Randle will start at running back if Murray can’t suit up.
