Safe to say this is shaping up to be a very strange NFL season

This is shaping up to be a very strange NFL season.

A team that was the vogue SB pick fell to 0-2 and the team most felt was one of the worst teams is 2-0.

Teams that looked awful in week one looked great today and teams that were looking great last week not so much week two.

Give it a few weeks to shape up. That's why I don't take the Cowboys win today too seriously. We've seen it before. Problem is with us, we go a whole 16 games and still don't know who we are. Give these teams a few weeks to get honest. I'm not worried about Seattle in the least. They'll be around deep in the postseason. I think San Fran will be nasty at the end of the year. The Saints, I'm not so sure about. They've been known to be pretty unpredictable.

I think the browns will be a better team than many expected. I could see them going 9 and 7. With that said, it's still way too early to say where anything is going this season.

I usually believe after week 5 the season starts. The weak and imposters Will be weave out.

Bills have a lot of talent all over that team, I believed they would be better.

Young talent and a young coach where there isn't a lot of tape on their new approach.

New Orleans i did not see going 2-0.

Most of the league looks 8-8.

Just so happens that the last time this team was really relevant was when we had a solid running game and real good offensive line.

The early season anomalies happen every year. There's always some weird starts.

What's different about this season is that like 26 teams look awful.

I always give it 4 or 5 weeks, but with some teams, you still never know. We are one of them. Hopefully that changes this year, and we have solid performances from here on out.

That 0-2 start stat, I don't always buy into that, as if any team that can come back from 0-2 can be the Saints. Hope not, but they can. Other teams in the past, start out strong, then fizzle. So yeah, need a few more weeks.

But also, if a team is 3-7, I still never rule them out. I go back to the 1990 season, when the Cowboys were 3-7, win their next 4, needed 1 win to make playoffs. Aikman gets injured in Philly, we lose those last 2 games.
