Do we pull for the Saints, since Atlanta could be one of our primary competitors for a Wild Card? Or do we pull for the Falcons to keep New Orleans from running away with home field advantage? Right now I'm not focusing on a Wild Card. I'm thinking NFC East title and competing for some type of home field advantage. Obviously it's way too early to bank on anything, but we are tied for first in the East. How about a tie? That would help on all fronts.

Who cares as long as Michael Turner doesn't get 25 fantasy points in the game.

The Cowboys got burned by the tie last year when the Eagles tied the Bengals.

Atlanta.

It's not a given that we'll win the division. I just want the Cowboys in the playoffs. Wilcard is the most likely scenario. Atlanta is a threat for a Wildcard spot so I will be rooting for New Orleans.

If N.O. loses, Dallas is only 1 game behind them...
Why wouldn't we want N.O. to lose?
Dallas already has the head to head on Atlanta as it is.

And we play them later on, so we could own a tie-breaker over the Saints as well. I know most on here don't think we have a chance in New Orleans. I'm not one of those people. I think we have a chance to win every game we play.

Yea, but that's not likely to happen again. How about this? Saints win tonight, but then they go on a 4 game losing streak????? I know, I know, but it's nice to think about.

BOTH the Giants & Ravens have/had 3 game losing streaks. Philly lost to Oakland. Dallas barely escaped K.C.

A LOT can happen in the second half of the season.

Why not Dallas?

:laugh1:

I know where you're coming from. My opponent has Brees and the Saints Defense, while I have Roddy White and Marques Colston.

I'm up 25 points, so as long as Brees is hitting Colston and the Falcons offense scores on the Saints, I'll be ok.

On a serious note, I think we want the Saints to win. The best thing for us is to have only one team from all the other NFC divisions get in the playoffs. We don't need Atlanta lurking around and end up getting a WC spot, since it's clear the Saints will win the division.

Everybody needs to root for the Saints, as hard as that might be.

The Falcons could steal a WC spot from us if we end up losing the division, so we need the Falcons to be out of contention.

The Giants also had a 5 game winning streak. Six for Denver. Six and counting for New Orleans. Colts no losses as well. Why not Dallas?
