Saints DE Charles Grant stabbed in the neck

GRANT STABBED IN ATLANTA

Eight years after an infamous Super Bowl night stabbing in Atlanta, there’s been another knife incident involving an NFL player.

This time around, however, the player was on the wrong end of the blade.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Saints defensive end Charles Grant was stabbed in the neck during a Saturday night fight in an Atlanta nightclub. A woman was shot and killed during the melee.

Grant is expected to be okay, but police will want to interview Grant, if they haven’t already, regarding the events that ultimately claimed a woman’s life.
More details are expected to come in as the day unfolds.​

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the woman who was shot and killed during a Saturday incident that resulted in the stabbing in the neck of Saints defensive end Charles Grant was pregnant.

So, just like the situation that ensnared Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis eight years ago, it’s a double-homicide case in Georgia, and Grant is in the thick of it.

As we understand the situation, there are many more details to come, and the details might not be good for the overall interests of Grant.

As for the pregnant woman, that's also sad but I've gotta wonder...what was a pregnant woman doing in a nightclub in the first place? She shouldn't have been in there drinking or anything so what would be the reason to be there while in that condition?

I love how a guy gets stabbed in the neck and without any facts whatsoever, everyone starts assuming it's his fault.

Similar to how it was Sean Taylor's fault someone broke into his house and shot him before people actually learned what the facts were.

How about you let it play out before you start assuming he was running around the club punching random people in the face, leading to him getting stabbed.

Generally in night clubs you do not get stabbed in the neck for just sitting there. generally someone in your group; party or yourself was involved in some incident inside the club or outside the club and got you into that position.

Also, from having friends who have been pregnant, they want to get out of the house. They hate sitting in the house. They don't drink. They don't drive. They just want to get out and vibe.

And it's only a problem if they're close to delivering.
