Saints fire Head Coach Dennis Allen

And that team blew us out.
yep. We have beaten two piss poor teams and one decent one
been rolled by a lousy team
beaten by a decent team a good team and a really good team
and and two of those were not as close as the score had it.

Allen is a real good defensive coach. What happened there?

My opinion is that the GM Mickey Loomis is trying to protect his job. With the exception of a few players the roster isn't very good, the roster is also old, $61M over the projected 2025 cap, and only 6 picks in the 2025 draft. Saints are still searching for a QB since Brees retired and have not been a draft & develop team. The average draft picks per NFL team is 8 with compensatory picks included. In the last 7 years the saints have had 41 picks compared to an NFL average of 56 picks in those same 7 years - a 15 player deficit.

Perhaps it's just me, but it seems like the Saints have gotten a bad reputation for playing more dirty football than most...
