Jerry tried to hire Troy's UCLA HC Terry Donahue in 1998 but negotiations broke down and he hired Chan Gailey instead (huge mistake). He also hired Dan Reeves as a consultant in 2009 but Dan quit after two days reportedly over how many hours a week he was suppose to work.
