It's a nice addition for them. He is getting a little long in the tooth but the Saints need some athletes at LB.

Simmons played pretty well for the Bengals last year and is supposed to a team leader type.

I'm guessing those Ex-Cowboy LB's didn't do it for Payton this year after all. I was very surprised to see Simmons let go by the Bengals. Good pick up for the Saints.
