Sal Pal - Cowboys Evoke 'Primal Urges' In Philly

Sal was on Mike and Mike and said this--

"The Phillies losing a game 6 to the Yankees in the World Series is CHILD'S PLAY compared to the Eagles losing to the Cowboys on a Sunday night nationally televised game. Dallas brings out primal urges in Philadelphia unlike any other team sports, it's absolutely brutal. I was driving home from the game last night and people were ripping Andy Reid (code name "FF" among Philly fans) and McNabb saying they've had enough of both of them It's really really bad around here today."

I would love to take some of those calls today and plug them into my ipod to work out to. It's truly music to my ears. :laugh2:

Eagles are now 0-7 on SNF...and the 'boys are 9-2.

No, Sal did not use that I just gave that as what they call him but it stands for "overweight f word."

Any fans who think they would be better without McNabb are just idiots...the guy is a stud. He threw some incredible passes last night, and we always struggle to get him down.

They'd better be hoping he plays for another 4-5 years. Once he's gone, they're going to be reminded, as Cowboys fans were, just how hard it is to find a true NFL franchise QB.

We're actually 9-3, because the Christmas game in 2006 was a SNF game even though it was played on a Monday.

No kidding, McNabb is a very good player. The Eagles just got beat in all 3 phases of the game last night, it is no one particular players fault. Just like in any football city when you lose a big game, it is time to get rid of the QB and coach.

On my was home to hear that excuse making homer Howard Eskin. Can't stand that clown. Trust me they won't be over this game for a week. Hopefully they're hungover just enough for the chargers to lay them out.

I don't know about that. They won't have near the struggles that the Cowboys had to replace their starting QB. As good as Donovan has been this season (and seasons passed), I think their coolest customer at the position on the Eagles team is sitting on the bench. Kolb is the real deal. He is a much more accurate passer than McNabb. They would give up a bit in the pocket mobility, but Kolb seems like a much better fit in the WCO, to me.

That stretch that he played while McNabb was injured was very impressive. Very accurate, and very cool in the pocket. McNabb's successor is already on board. Make no mistake about that.
