I was reading the USA Today last week and noticed that they had all NFL teams players' salaries listed for this year. I read the Cowboys and was suprised to see Carpenter 4th or 5th on the list as one of the highest pay player on the Cowboys roster at over 5 million. My question is is this right or is this a misprint? I thought maybe this is the way his contract was but it seemd a little odd since he is only in his 2nd year. They also reported that Ware makes about 730,000 this year for those that care.

Are you sure about Carp's salary?

I thought his 2007 salary was $1,220,000. If it is true then he wouldn't even be ranked #20 on Cowboys roster.

The amounts listed in USA Today are what the player takes home in 2007 in all salary and bonuses. Carpenter got a $4.66 million option bonus and has a base salary of $360,000. Ware doesn't have any bonuses due this season (he got his in 2005 and 2006), so the only thing listed is his base salary.

Stop the Hate, the man is Logjammin back there behind two-three probowl linebackers, give the man some time, an opportunity will prove him.

Hopefully its in Dallas.
