After much Senior Bowl Buffoonery via diarrhea mouth and offspring…no need to repeat any of it and ruin a good Sunday…you all heard it. Im left asking myself….

Are they selling their product the way they feel necessary, or do they truly believe the crap they spew?

They honestly say things that I would expect a not so knowledgeable casual fan to say, and it falls somewhere between scary and embarrassing. I have a difficult time admitting I’m a fan of this team these days, and it’s not at all about losing games.

I don’t expect them to trash players publicly, and I know Jerry only does this to be a celebrity, so asking him to shut it altogether isnt going to happen….but can’t they learn to say things like…”we will evaluate all players between now and the start of the league year, as we always do.”

How difficult is THAT? It isn’t.

So I ask again, as one example…do they truly BELIEVE that Elliott can still play at a high level, or do they just feel the need to SAY that?

If they kept it simple like saying we evaluate all players ect, that doesn’t get attention that Jerrah craves. They love to think they are smarter than everyone else and want to let you know it. Everyone knows Zeke is done but Stephen said he sees no drop off. They just can’t help themselves.

I feel that they will say that, but they certainly would draft Robinson and cut Elliott after June 1st, after they do the math for the roster that they want to create.

They absolutely believe it.

Jerry is emotionally invested in the Cowboys. He is emotionally invested in the team, and running it, and receiving credit.

People who are emotionally invested in something heavily enough will throw reason out the window. I believe it explains some of Jerry’s less-than-ideal decisions.

I didn’t a write a word about telling anyone how to run their business, and you have NO idea what I have or haven’t accomplished in life, and it has zero to do with this.

They got rid of Ware, Witt, Romo, Coop etc so maybe they are just bluffing with Zeke. I do think Zeke is huge in the locker room that carries a lot of worth with them.
