He was very impressive in the first game against UNT. I believe he was 21 for 23 with 363 yards. He went into the game today with 18 straight completions. I dont know how many completions he had before his first miss.

Sam had a great game. I am very impressed with this freshman QB. Miami just had no answers for Oklahoma's balanced offense today.

The OU OL was holding up extremely well for Sam. Bradford is really good at reading defenses so far that I have seen. He know's exactly where to go w/ the football. If you single man up on Kelly, then Bradford and he are going to kill you.

What does surprise me this year is the OU front D-line. They are getting constant pressure on the opposing team's QB. Those hurries and sacks are a blessing to see. That was a great relief for me. I was a bit worried during the off season on how well OU's D-line would show. They appear to be doing a consistent job so far.

DW was at this game. Don't forget to post what you saw DW.

Miami really has fallen pretty far. Cannot remember the last time they just were not capable of competing.

to score 2 TDs against a very fast D is impressive

He had 3 TD's. =)

But - who is counting?

I think he'll soon make it to the Heisman watch list. Corso is gay for him, so that should help.

8 TDs in two games isn't too shabby.

He should put up gaudy numbers over Utah State and Tulsa over the next two weeks as well.

I got to watch about a half of the game. I think he played very well. About the only concern I could see with him, he really appeared to be staring down his WRs. but he's a Freshman in what his second game? I'm sure he'll learn to stop doing that.

Ingleous(misspelled) the other WR impressed me more

Yeah he was bringing the safety over which in a way makes his accuracy more impressive...I think the only knock on the kid is gonna be that he doesn't seem to have that strong of an arm...probably make a wonderful WCO QB though

Sam's made his first appearance on the ESPN Heisman list this week. Two 5th place votes, but it's a start!

FWIW, I think Malcolm Kelley deserves as much praise, if not more.

Bradford has NFL written all over him. When I observe college QB's, I look at their footwork, throwing motion and decision making. Bradford has those NFL type of attributes. As mentioned in another thread, Bradford complete a long playaction TD to a well covered receiver. Many Heisman touted college QB's can't even complete that pass. His arm strength will improve with age. He still hasn't physically matured and he has a huge frame so I'm not worried about his arm. Anyone can succeed in a spread offense in which you are throwing 5 yard passes to open receivers in the flat but it's another thing to do it in a pro-style offense with limited attempts. He is a lot better than Jason White was. Yes, I'll go on the record saying that. Stoops took him out early in the North Texas game out of sportsmanship otherwise he would have likely put two more TD's at the least. Some coaches leave their players in longer for Heisman purposes but Stoops isn't that type of coach.
