Personally, while I understand there is a chance this year he is a top 10 or even top 5 pick, I think it's a mistake. Should have stayed another year.

Going to be an interesting first round now that he's in the draft though. Good luck to him. A lot of teams in need of a franchise QB right now.

the more QBs there are the more other players get pushed down due to historic overdrafting. So this is good.

Rosen is a prima donna so he would fit right in with NY and make that locker room even worse. Plus he’s already had at least one concussion making him that much more of a liability. Either way, I think both of them are over rated for different reasons. Rosen is probably the most ready and overall better qb IMO but see above for all his other baggage.

Brees is amazingly accurate but he probably has the worst arm strength of any QB in the league.

4 QBs going before our pick is great for Dallas. We should get an impact defensive player. Maybe we can even get within trade-up shot of a Minkah Fitzpatrick, Clelin Ferrell or Roquan Smith.

Where you are pro-Dak or anti-Dak, you probably should accept that there is no way Jerry is going to replace him THIS year.

That kind of made me pause too. Even if Brees didn't have a weak arm, Mayfield can sling the F out of a ball. He's got a vastly superior arm to Dak right now, and that's not meant as a dig at Dak.

Of the four, Mayfield has the best chance of being available for us. I would probably draft him, personally.

But I really don’t see that happening. A few years ago, Christian Ponder was a first rounder.
