It looks like this kid is going to get a chance today at WR. I really hope he gives us what he showed in the preseason. If he does maybe the T.O fiasco will come to an end after one season. Hurd seems like a likable kid so I really wish him well today. It would be nice to uncover another hidden gem like Romo seems to be.

This is the step up to the plate and show you are the future of the Cowboys year. Hurd/McBriar/Romo/Gurode, am I missing anyone?

Yeah. Hurd is going to push TO off the roster. Sure.

Hey, there's plenty of people here who would be glad to see T.O. off the team after one season. If Hurd helps us get to that point then so be it. I personally haven't enjoyed watching the circus around this team for the last 9 weeks. But this thread is not a referendum on T.O. It is about wishing the kid Hurd good luck.

I hate the circus -- but T.O. is an outstanding WR. Folks have focused on his 2 big drops but ignore the ton of huge catches he's made. His numbers aren't great compared to his previous years -- but everyone knew that would be the deal coming in.

I'm really excited to watch Hurd and/or Austin today...Just give us something, one big play or tough catch, and I'll be happy. Both these guys are undrafted rookies so I'm not expecting much--so anything positive is good enough for me.

Regardless, I still think we'll be drafting a WR in one of the first two rounds next year

This is a big game for Watkins IMO. I mean it is not like the guy found himself out of position on those plays he got beat...

he spent too much time watching the Dallas Cowobys cornerbacks run down the field step for step never once looking for the ball.

hey Pat...knock it down man.

Sam Hurd will represent the 210 today.

You hit the nail on the head. Watkins was stride for stride with the receiver on every one of those plays. He needs to work on his technique and look for the ball. This can be taught, but do we have anyone on our staff who can teach it?

Huge catches culminate in 6 points and first downs. He's missed those. His little slants fom 5-10 yards out, Q. Morgan can do. I'm STILL waiting for this "greatness" to show up........consistently. At this point, IMO, he's nothing more than Alvin Harper.

Now If Hurd can stay focused and show some consistency, I'd love for him to become a starter.

31 First downs. 6 TDs.

Next absurd statement?

ZZZ... I look forward to seeing Hurd today. That said, can we please leave the I hate TO drama until after the game? His 2nd chance starts in a little over 5 hours. Perhaps he will do something that will allow the TO hate to dissipate for another week. Just a thought...

Hurd had a good game. He is pretty nice too, hopefully he is a long term solution at wr. His size is a plus and his hands are big too.
