BIO: Junior college transfer and All-Conference selection the past two years. Averaged 43 yards on 56 punts last season with a long of 64 yards. Longest punt as a junior was 69 yards. Field-goal kicker in junior college who hit from 57 yards.

POSITIVES: Big-legged dual kicker who handles pressure well. Effective directional punter who consistently places the ball where needed. Drives the ball and can punt his team out of a jam.

NEGATIVES: Does not get great hang time on punts. Has not handled field-goal kicking duties in two years.

ANALYSIS: A player who single-handedly led his team to victory or kept them in games last season, Paulescu is a well-rounded punter. Should get consideration in the late rounds.

in 2006 sporting news draft magazine it says
strenghts; has above average leg strength & great directional skills. Gets terrific hang time & control of punts. Weaknesses, lacks experience after playing only 2 years in division 1A. Must prove he can handle the added pressure of the nfl. Bottom line, paulescu has one of the groups best legs and projects as a mid to late day 2 selectioin.

i think someone also said this guy was in the cowboys training camp last year in san antonio
