6-7 barring injury! Maybe 1 or 2 more with a significant injury to Lawrence creating a increase in his snap count!

I'm taking the over.

I think he could easily get 12 sacks this year and will be starting by week 9.
Issue is Parsons, DLaw, Fowler, and Armstrong on the roster. I don't think he is going to get enough snaps to get double digit sacks.

Who know maybe he explodes and wins the starting gig over DLaw.

Sam has otherworldly potential. If he focuses and cleans up the off-field stuff, the sky is the limit.

The over/under I'm concerned about are way more important than football
-Fatalities surrounding his vehicle and person
-Years of incarceration

I'll go under because with Parsons, Armstrong, and Fowler in the rotation at RDE I just don't know he gets enough snaps to realistically do it. He played 27% of the snaps last year and averaged a sack every 68 snaps which is about 1 a game. If he matched that sack rate and saw an increase in snap count to 50% that should equate to 8.5.

I'm excited about Williams this year based on what he flashed last year, but we also have some other rotational components that also deserve playing time. A Sam Williams playing 40-50% of the snaps with Armstrong and Fowler each taking the other 30% may yield more sacks than Williams playing 75% of snaps.

I’ll take the over on this one. Parsons will be commanding a ton of attention, and I think Williams benefits.

I think he bags between 10-12 sacks

I take under. probably about 8 or 9. reason is at this point he will be part of a platoon of DEs that will rotate freely and Parsons will continue to play a lot at DE. he won't have enough opportunities to cash in

This should be a breakout year for him.
Still, with the Boyz rotating their pass rushers to preserve freshness, I think Williams will have an impact but come under 10 sacks.
I say 9.

Wow you guys are optimistic….if we got 6 or 7 sacks from him year 2 as well as being stout against the run? I’d take it and be floored.

To end up with 12 sacks he’s going to have to be starting from day one.

I'm going under. I think he still has some rough edges to work on and is a year or two away from breaking out. Hopefully I'm wrong and he gets the over this year.
