Sam Williams Over/under 9.5 sacks

Projecting the sack totals of players every summer never seems to turn out real well. They usually end up being the kiss of death. We’ll see how this one turns out. Parsons would have close to 40 sacks if fans projections were accurate.

If he gets 12 sacks then I am guessing he is getting the majority of the playing time.

I am also guessing that opposing teams will negate his pressure by running a pulling guard directly at him and seating him on his rear.

If he gets it great. But I would be leery about the sack metric being a measure of how successful he is on the edge if he can't sustain run defence.

Remember Robert Quinn. Sack leader for the Cowboys, but couldn't stop a run if his life depended on it. It takes a rare person to take on the run, and get double digit sacks.

He has the physical talent and football skill to do it, but does he have the desire and will to win to be great. Guys like Micah don’t come around all the time. He has the talent and the drive.

I hope Williams has the desire and will to win. He definitely has the physical talent.

I say easily over 10 if he has Micah’s desire to be great!!!! He will be one of our main pass rushers on 2nd, and especially 3rd down if he demonstrates Micah’s desire to be great early in the season!

This thread is a great example of why I would trade Mr. Parsons for a Herschel Walker type bounty

Clearly somebody knows defensive players when it comes to drafting.
No need to pay Parsons quarterback money to be a part of a defense when you can win a super bowl easily without him.

Spend those pics on a class a quarterback or even 2 quarterbacks. (If you're afraid of failure)
