The kid is a good player but he is sitting behind better players at the moment. So it's nice they are finding ways he can make an impact, speaks to his willingness to do what it takes and his athleticism.

His slow start this year had everything to do with his turf toe and he was in the doghouse with the coaches he had to work his way in practice and in games to earn his snaps back. There was no mystery we didn't need 4 post where did Sam Williams go....

The coaches handled this well he got in trouble he got hurt and they made him earn everything... Now let's hope he shows up at the Eagles game and he address another good game and then he can link them together but this dude's got all the talent in the world in my opinion he's better than Randy Gregory I think he's gonna be tank he's gonna be DeMarcus Lawrence he's gonna play that side whenever DeMarcus Lawrence leaves it could be next year speak more snaps you give this kid the more he's gonna show you he's a lot better than people are giving him credit for...

This kid, yes kid...because hes still young and learning how to be a pro. ...had an outstanding game yesterday and deserves luv. He didn't have any flags, was focused and made tackles when he had the chance, then that Punt Block was sweet. He put a great swim move on the guy and knifed in there like he was shot out of a cannon. That kind of play will earn him more playing time along the defensive line. Instead, of checking out mentally, he stepped it up and proved to the team he wants to be here and get reps. I think he earned it. Proud of the guy. Many were saying we blew another 2nd rd pick on a guy, but I see growth now. I think next year is when we might see a star emerge. Thats IF he continues on this trajectory. Micah touched on Sam after the game yesterday. Basically, said that.This was an under the radar positive I took from the game yesterday. I think we hit on Sam Williams when we drafted him. We just need 2 wait.

True. Valid. But I never did get fooled by him. He was by far, a bigger issue.

In week seven against Detroit last season, he had 2 sacks and three solo tackles. He literally took over that game. I thought he was going to be a great player but he ended up disappearing. This season he’s done virtually nothing until yesterday. He’s been disappointing. We’ll see how he finishes up this season.
