Well, my first though to caption that was, "No. No. You do nothing your first three years and THEN you have a good year to get paid."

But after really watching it, Sam's first move appeared to be considerably more sudden and powerful, but limited his movement options.

I think it was less about power and more about getting the hand and footwork in unison. Then you refine to power.
