When they’re playing in August, it’s almost always against guys that won’t be in the NFL for long if at all.

He will play more as the season goes along. I expect him to have some impact by November. But he has a ton of things to learn. Patience required.

With great talents like Tarell Basham rotating at DE SW was lucky to get a snap. Now Tarell is hurt so Sam will somehow have to fill that void.

They talked these players up during camp so maybe we were being fed BS. To be honest I wasn’t overly impressed with Sam Williams during preseason. Hopefully he gets a few more snaps tomorrow.

He looked pretty good, he just wasn't quite getting to the QB. But he kept containment pretty well while trying.

I honestly didn’t even notice him out there last week. Some fans were predicting double digit sacks for him. He was even being compared with Parsons by a few on the board. lol One concern with him is his ability to stop the run. It’s still real early so let’s see if he gets more snaps tomorrow.
