Same 30 Years Of Soft!

It's wild that over the past 30 years, the amount of talent we have had. Only to not get the best out of it with coaching. In the nfl coaches matter more than any other sport. We keep hiring guys nobody else really wants (outside maybe mike McCarthy).

If we had an elite coach I guarantee the past 30 years we would have at least went to a SB.

Jerry jones sacrificed 30 years of this franchise to feed his fragile ego. I thought as he got older he'd stop, but it's just been more of the same. Year in and year out.

You're probably right and the hard thing to fathom is that when Jerra steps down, Stephen will be right there to keep the mistakes going!

Narcissists tend to get worse as the age. It’s a part of the Cluster B personality disorder. He’s acting a true narcissist.

What I am trying to figure out is his frail ego and what the drive is. Does he want to be the GM known as finding some raw untapped coaching hire that will be with the Cowboys for 30 years and be a time great. Like is he wanting to take credit for finding and employing the next Tom Landry. Or does he want a coach that doesn’t outshine him. I think it’s the latter.

I agree but Jerry truly believes HE is the smartest person in the NFL! Watch the docuentary if you haven't already and he says it loud and clear!

I’m done believing or hoping for better days in the cowboys! I’ve been a fan since I was 5 years old which was 1969 so I’ve been a fan through thick & thin but I’m now done thinking & hoping that each year is going to bring a different result! This organization is soft from the head down beginning with the Jones’. Obviously they don’t have a clue in what it takes to win in the NFL & if it weren’t for Jimmy Johnson, they wouldn’t have the 3 Super Bowls from the 1990’s. They can’t evaluate players, they can’t evaluate coaches & until they either sell the team, (which they won’t) or hire real football people to take over and completely run the team it’s NEVER going to change! Do we really think that when Jerry’s gone his son Steven will be any better? Heck no! I’m not buying their gear & I’m no longer going to make our annual trip to Dallas! All talk year after year and absolutely nothing to show for it for the last 30 years! Nothing!!

I'm about your age my friend and if the Jones family retains the Cowboys for the next several generations, you and me have probably seen our last Cowboys SB. I'm not being hyperbolic.
