Same old defense. Same team-coach ineptness

What I saw was a coach that was scared to go for a TD at the end of both halves.

We lost that game because of the head coach being just as scared and conservative as the previous head coach

At first I thought the same, but then I thought going for the last FG was the right decision. Take the points, get the lead.

what game was you watching......

Defense was great and a positive.

It’s not 1995.

It’s nearly impossible to defend.

Did you look across at the other team who has a “championship defense” and see anything that is so out of the Cowboys reach?

If anything I’ll take what our defense did over theirs by getting us 3 turnovers.

Defense in the NFL is a myth and QB play, time of possession, scoring points to get a lead have a huge impact on the quality of defense you can play.

NFL defenses are all terrible. Stop using it as an excuse.

The difference in that game was Lavontae David spiking his helmet and it wasn’t called, the refs calling us for holding to stop our drive (fair enough) and then swallowing their whistle when Godwin pushes off at the end.
Who stole Catch-17 Fanzone account??? Excellent post!!!

4 turnovers on D should have been enough. Red zone ineptitude, penalties at the worst times and bad special teams were to blame.

What I said is the reality.

NFL defenses are trash. You like Tampa’s Championship caliber defense last night?

Get over it.

Cowboy fans need to come to the reality that the run game is overrated and NFL rules don’t allow for strong defenses. Once you guys accept that’s it’s not 1995 anymore the better it will be on y’all.

All due respect but IMO that's a loser mentality. You can still build a dominate defense even in todays games. It's just that most NFL teams are in the glitz and glamour of having a glorified offense versus building a defense. If we had even half the defense Washington, Rams and Bears have we'd of beat the bucks last night pretty easily. Again. If the inept GM moves up and takes the Alabama corner we'd of beat Tampa last night. Then on top of that they let a rookie linebacker whose lost out there himself call the defensive signals. Brilliant:facepalm: You don't need the Bear 46 defense. But you better at least have one that can get a sack.

My thing is ..... Go for the win.

They did. Gaining the lead and putting the pressure on the other team to score within 1:24 gives you much better statistical odds to win the game than going for a TD.

The part they messed up was not running the clock down more before the FG.

Must of been a horrible game for you to watch...suggest not watching anymore......most fans thought it was a great battle went down to the last seconds against the Super Bowl Champs.......

The game we lost because we set up for field goals at the same end of each half

And as I said. Moore goes brain dead when he needs to call game winning plays. Or game winning drives. The last drive that got us the field goal is a perfect example. He does great and then he gets close to the redzone and ...brain dead arrives. WTH is Big Mac Mikes job? Some one help me here......

Most fans except losing. I don't. No moral victories for me....thus the reason most fans except 25 years of ineptness.

Defense was fine lots of new and young players they will only get better
