San Francisco has better offense, defense, and now special teams. They have a better team at every position excluding QB and DB.

Been there in 1992 NFC Championship Game, and the 1972 Divisional Playoff game. Both of these games the Cowboys were not the favorite and beat the so called better team.

Before the 1992 NFC Championship game 49er Jesse Sapolu said "the road to the Super Bowl goes through San Francisco". After the game, Mark Tuinei, Cowboys Pro Bowl LT, told Jesse Sapolu...

"THANKS FOR THE DIRECTIONS!"

"Thanks for the directions." :muttley: Loved Tuinei, it is a shame how his life ended.

But it's true, the "better" team doesn't always win. That's why the play the games.

The game under Barry Switzer when the Cowboys went down 21-0 irked me. What irked me was Ken Norton betrayed the star and went to SF as a free agent that season. I still can’t get over that game and Switzer bumping that official.

Based on the schedule they played, are they really as good as everyone makes them out to be? We got this they are going to get it good. Their secondary although they have most Int’s is a weakness for them. Dak gets time and he can gash them like he did the Bucs.
That is what a lot of people missed about the 1992 Cowboys, they came out of the East when it was the Beast. San Francisco had a lot of lay up games with the old Western Division that included 2 games versus the Falcons, Rams, and always had the Saints number (no QB).

The West Division was weak this year. You have every team in the East with .500 or more record and 3 out of 4 in the Playoffs. Iron sharpens Iron.
