Sanders is a problem

His experience at protecting the qb could be an issue. Blue will get a shot at some point and he will be fresh when he gets it.

Although sanders is just the backup, I wrote this because it was a major issue for fans at the game.

If the coaches thought Blue gave us a better chance to win, he’d be playing.

We’ve been saying for years that the coaches should make players earn their playing time and Schottenheimer has stated that himself.

Mazi benched? Coach is finally not giving in to Jerry. Cut Mazi!

Blue benched? Hook Em! He’s super fast! Is Schottenheimer stupid?

Fans, by and large, are clueless. In my stadium experience, I’ve found that most of the fans in attendance don’t even know who’s on the field on any given series.

Yup. If Blue can get his act together, try and pick Achain from Miami. They're a couple losses away from a fire sale IMO.

Diggs was another issue. Seeing the play on TV vs in person is another experience. Diggs is still hurt, I dont know where but he isnt right. He looked slow after the snap and I knew right away when he was beat. All willson needed was time. The fans around me were also calling out the play on diggs before the pass.

This game was a good game but our fans seemed deflated.

Diggs is definitely still hurt.

Will never be the same. His hips are turning way slower because it requires the knee.

You don’t know anything that goes on at practice.
Also, Williams is playing outstanding.

Finally, Blue did have issues with fumbling in college.

I admit I wanted him back if they weren’t serious in replacing him but Williams has really impressed and I don’t think Sanders as a vet relief pitcher is all that bad.

Fans count for Zero. Sanders had a pretty dam nice td run. Is he fast no, but give him some space and his moves are all that is needed.

Fans were hating on the wrong player. Sanders made a very good TD run in the game. Is he a playmaker at this point in his career? Not really. However, our special teams (other than the FG kicker and punter) and the defense are the ones that should have been catching all of the hate. Seemed like we had a penalty on every kick return and there were a lot of kick returns thanks to the defense. Kick coverage was awful.

Sanders missed most of camp, was awful week 1, and is just not good at football anymore.
 
Whether the fans do not think blue is ready or not is immaterial.

The coaches do not think he is ready. And I would hazard to say there must be good reason as I am sure they would love a RB with speed and juice out there to take the rock to the house.
