Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports the Oakland Raiders have re-signed DT Terdell Sands to a four-year contract worth $17 million. He received $4 million to sign the deal. The deal includes salaries of $800,000 (2007), $1.2 million (2008), $1.3 million (2009) and $4.6 million (2010). Roster bonuses of $1.3 million in each of the next three seasons and $800,000 in the final year are also included.

I know some people had wanted us to bring him in for help at the NT spot, but it appears like that won't be happening now.

This is disappointing as I thought he would be a good fit for us......oh well.....it is so hard to get FA deals done......so many obsticles.

He changed his name. That wasn't his given name.

Baskerville was one of my favorite players. He was on the Memphis St team that went to the Final 4 in 85. He had a lot of personal problems and is no longer with us.

Oh and he got his name from The Hounds of the Baskerville's but we all called him Batman.

I heard about a San Francisco artist during the Haight Ashbury days who named their baby Groovy Nipple _________. I don't remember the last name.

The Assistant Fire Chief in my old department went to school with a girl who was named Virginia Hyman.

A cowboy from my neck of the woods named Harley Paul named his son Pockets. Would you like to be called Pockets Paul?
