how many players have we drafted that gotten us over the hump?

which single player in the first round whould you attest that to?

i knwo of one, but he becaome sane and left Dallas. but he wasnt the only one to help his team but he was huge.

Who do you think the draft right now that we got, would put us over?

Micah, CeeDee, Tyler...this should be the caliber of player they draft in '25. However, I'm just looking for a solid contributor at DT.

Sometimes I think you should just say screw thoughts of Jerry and McCarthy and drop back into average Joe fandom and just evaluate the product on the field.

“Was the win worth anything”. Of course it was. You have players stepping up. A few names you didn’t anticipate and your getting to see young guys playing…winning games. You can recognize who your veteran dogs are when they’re ballin’ out with nothing to play for.

View my thoughts as a backhanded compliment. Some of you get way deep into salary cap, free agents, have your fingers in PFF, and all that stuff is cool but don’t forget to just watch the game and appreciate how hard the team is playing.

Screw ownership and enjoy winning cuz it’s damn hard in the NFL.

Right, players and coaches do not tank.

The team is playing and fight hard to win.which is what fans want, or should want. I wonder about that at times as we all seen.

So it is Jerry’s fault they play hard and give some good signs going forward rather than tanking. But yet it is Jerry”s fault they don’t have players with heart.

This is what a lot of fans don't understand. The NFL isn't in it for the fans, and that's perfectly acceptable. Players, coaches, and everyone else associated with the team wants to advance to the highest level they can, and that has nothing to do with the fans' personal agendas.

MM is a mediocre coach, Dak is not elite, the defense is mediocre at best, Parsons won’t do it alone, Jerry won’t change until some really catastrophic happens.

I was fully team tank as it made the most sense for what is needed and where this team obviously wasn't going. However, it has been nice to see that they have some fight in them and how they stepped up and started playing hard for Rush and Big Mike. Wonder if that will continue next year when Dak returns.

Same, and truth be told I don't know what makes anyone believe a team who gave up and lost out (tanked) is suddenly going to become winners.

Of course the higher draft selections would have been clutch, but in order to get those the team would have to be in a sorrowful state. I'm not sure you can put that genie back in the bottle so quickly.

These guys are the elite competitors of the world. Of course they are going to compete. Their livelihoods depend on it. Have you ever stepped on the court/field and said “nah I don’t want to win today?” I think people are actually not giving the coaching staff enough credit for giving the players a good enough gameplan for them to keep competing. Anybody watching this saints/gb game should realize that. Saints don’t even look like they have a gameplan.
