Got this from my CBS Sportsline fantasy league, so there's no link...

News: Mark Brunell, Clinton Portis and Santana Moss didn't practice Monday as the Commanders returned from a four-day, bye-week vacation. Of the three, Moss was the least optimistic about playing in Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Moss, the team's only consistent receiver this season, is recovering from a strained left hamstring. He said he was being cautious because of his experience with previous hamstring injuries. "If you go out and try to be Superman, you can prolong the healing process," Moss said. "I don't want to do that. I really don't want to miss Sunday, but I don't want to miss any Sunday."

Analysis: Owners of Moss should monitor his situation before starting him vs. Dallas in Week 9. When healthy, he's capable of exploding for a huge game but is a safe bet for around 70 yards.

If Moss can't go... let's just say, I'd feel a LOT better about Dallas' chances. And I already feel good about their chances with Moss 100%.

It's probably a good idea for his career. No sense showing up to this slaughter and getting hurt.

Well... you know what... being that we are "riding" with Romo... I will take EVERY advantage we can get.... I am not gonna run with the Bring 'em on slogan... well not until Romo gets some real playing time under his belt... atleast 2 weeks worth

:lmao2:

Moss is wise not playing on Sunday, he doesnt want to get crushed by Davis n Roy because they know he wont come out of there alive, lol.

It's TO fault, his hammy problem must have been contagious.

I'm sure he'll play. Joe "Egghead Jr." Gibbs always does this stuff and then they all end up getting well miraculously come game time.

Stick a fork if Moss doesn't play. He's the only player they have that worries me.

I thought the same about Portis in week 2.

Yeah, I thought so too. Still, I have faith in the Widow Priss' boy. He'll get Moss on the field somehow.

I agree.

Gibbs is notorious for these types of shenanigans.

I wouldn't be suprised at all if Campbell played a lot either.

Portis, Brunell, and Moss are all fine....all will be 100% at gametime.
