No. No one wanted to "cut" Jenkins. This is a classic attention whoring thread. Many many many of us were upset with the way he approached that play... that's about the gist of it. I think I may have been the lonesome dove on here sounding the Oscan >Jenkins horn. I quickly learned to appreciate the talent we acquired in Jenkins but still love my boy Oscan and see him continuing to raise his level of play as well on the defense.

What a joke. I just went through that entire thread, and only one person (Dave in NC) advocated that he be cut. That's some sort of groundswell or something? Pathetic. Jenkins was excoriated after that game and rightly so. I'm glad he's turned it around in recent years, but that does not erase his cowardice that day. Anyone who laid into him had every right to do so.
