Last I heard, Jason Tucker, Ed Hervey, Chris Brazzel and John Avery are 4 of the more prominent stars in that joke of a league. That should give you a pretty good indication of the talent level.

It's nothing short of criminal that a football-crazy city like Toronto has to suffer the second rate joke known as CFL football. Unlike baseball and basketball which haven't been truly embraced (except when the Jays won it all and when Vince Carter was looking like the next MJ), I have no doubt that NFL football would be a smash hit here. I really have no time for the CFL. Some try to say it's more exciting, but for me there's nothing exciting about bad tackling.

The game is probably faster and is definitely higher scoring but I'm with Jem, I can't get into it. The Grey Cup is here in Vancouver tomorrow and while I will probably watch it at my mom's (for my son's birthday party), I will run upstairs for updates on the Giants-Seahawks' game.

A possible player for us though might be Lions backup Casey Printers. He has some good mobility and could be a good backup for Bledsoe.

BTW Jem, you forgot Jhermaine Copeland and Wade McGarrity are stars up here

Yeah and I think Kenyon Rambo might be playing here as well. Shows the quality of players we had in 4-5 years pre-Parcells.

...think you would be happy with Makowsky at all. He would be overmatched on bull rushes.

He wouldn't be good on depth chart. Better to go with a youngster out of U.S. college.

Remember, DE in the CFL can be as light as 240lbs. Makowsky may work in Denver, but not in our system.
