What difference does it matter who we play tonight? How does that impact what this team's attitude has been (and has remained) for an awful long time? Hell, even OU can relate because I'm pretty sure that even they aren't scared of the SEC (as long as their talent pool comes from Texas).

he isnt horrible in coverage.....i have always liked Gideon. He botched the INT against TT, but he has since made up for it with one heckuva career at Texas.

Florida got blown out at home
VT got beat by 20 at home
TAMU lost
Baylor lost (I wanted them to win, but they were ahead of Texas, so it's ok that they lost)
S. Florida lost on Thursday

Texas routed Iowa St. on the road

Texas should move up quite a bit....IMO, they should now be #10.

I am glad Arkansas won, doesnt change the fact that their run defense was completely horrible. Good luck against LSU and Alabama.

Texas doesnt care about the SEC. But, just so you know, unlike A&M, Texas has actually won games against the SEC in the last decade...beating LSU 2 times and Arkansas at least once, if not twice. They almost beat Alabama in the Championship game with a backup freshman QB...down by 3 with 2:37 left in the game.

I was pretty close....I had the top 7 correct. The AP jumped Oregon with Clemson. They also have Arkansas at 10 and Texas at 11. I believe Texas should be 10 and Arkansas 11. But that is ok, If Texas takes care of their business this upcoming weekend, they will move into the top 7, if not the top 5. Then, if they win the following week against OSU (and OSU is undefeated when they play), Texas will move into the top 5 and control its own destiny for the rest of the season.

USA Today/ESPN has Texas at #10 and Arkansas at 12. Boise State has been falling in both polls. Voters are going to keep pecking away at their ranking until they are out of the NC picture again.

Name one Longhorn fan looking past OU, or any OU fan looking past UT for that matter....neither fan is doing any such thing. You sir are a pot stirrer.
