It shows in the schedule of events that they will be carrying the game Saturday night. Is that correct and have they done that before?

Your local affiliate is cheating you out of 30 minutes of the pre-game then. It should be an hour starting at 8:00 cst.

I like the stance that Beaumont has taken against the Houston Texans. They still have an affiliated Cowboys radio station in Beaumont (none in Houston), and they actually show the preseason Cowboy games (I'm sure they don't in Houston...at least not live).

Since they have zero affiliates around here, my dial is tuned to AM 560 KLVI, along with my super antenna so that I can listen when the games aren't televised here. Since I got a raise recently, I am trying to convince the wife that I need Sirius satellite radio to catch all the games that aren't televised...I may win an argument finally.

I normally just buzz through Beaumont at 75 MPH on my way to Houston. I am starting to like the place more and more. I may have to stop and hang out with you folks once in awhile.
