I don't mind division champs getting automatic playoff spots. Otherwise, get rid of divisions.

But they should not get an automatic home field game

A 6-11 team could host a 15-2 team theoretically

Even this year, it will end up being an 8-9 or 9-8 team hosting a 12-5 or 13-4 team

This debate has been going on for years.
Why have divisions at all then.
Matter of fact extend it to no conferences at all.

What if the last 3 NFC teams in the playoffs. Are 7-10 or worse.
And there are 3 AFC teams that are 8-9 or better.
Should they not deserve to be in the playoffs over those NFC teams?

No...you have to have conferences.

I just think giving all division winners a home game is silly.
IF they want divisions, let the winner in, but determine home and road games by record.
