To be fair, he struggled when Higgins was out. You really need 2 good receivers in this league. If your number 2 cannot beat man coverage, any team can limit your star. They are paying over 50 million to their two receivers even with Chase still on his rookie deal. Bengals offered Chase 140 million, but he didn’t like the structure and wants his money sooner, so Higgins will be a free agent after this year.
Good analysis, Chuck.
Bengals paying anyone big bucks is impressive. They might be the cheapest team in the league. Tightwad comes to mind when I hear Mike Brown.

True, but he also was coming off of an injury to start the year, and dealt with the Chase fiasco as well, and an awful, awful D all season long.

Burrow took matters and the team in his own hands from start to finish.

That clock management by Taylor at the end of regulation when they ended up giving Denver another shot with a time out and well over a minute was about as dumb as I’ve seen .

Forgot to mention what he did against that Broncos D as well, even though their Broncos defense has not geen as great of late...his stats today were off the chart and in the last 8 games he's averaged 250 yards and 3 TD's per game...

I told myself two months ago that I would never bet on the Rams again. I didn’t learn that lesson…..

80% completion today on 45 attempts and I believe no ints. Seemed unfazed by the sacks he took.

He's used to that since the day he was drafted, and ownership seemingly could care less to protect their franchise. Not even our owner is that bad

Ironic that Burrow is having his career year when it probably will not matter

well he was for a while. Remember when he said that since Romo was so slippery they did not need that good an O line?

Bengals would be a 1 or 2 win team this season without Burrow. They have been that bad. What he's doing right now should be up there with some of the best QB seasons we have witnessed. He's just in a zone you see very few QBs get into in their careers.

Should be MVP - but the Allen campaign and factoring playoffs into the MVP discussion will prevent it from happening.
