Saturday Games

Low hanging fruit but the NFL has really found a way to decrease the value of their product by spreading it so thin across the board. I didn’t even know this game was on until midway through the 1st. Was it really necessary to have it on a Saturday with college bowl games?

Playoffs:

Steelers upset the Chargers. Jaguars upset the Bills. People have no idea how red hot those pair of AFC South teams are.

Texans might upset the Patriots.
I think the Bills are going to somehow get to the SB this year now that their kryptonite is at home

I need the Texans to win. Need them to keep pressure on the Jaguars to not coast next weekend. I’m targeting picking them in my $20,000 Survivor league.

They started doing Saturday games late in the season a few years ago.

The Christmas Day games feel totally unnecessary. If I want to have sports on for some reason Christmas Day, there was always the NBA

That Texans defense so tough.

Suprised the O is doing so well though

Looking good so far

Depends who they get. I'd argue the Jaguars are hardest to beat for them, while the Chargers are easiest. the rest? It just depends on who show up on any given day.

Texans are just better. They might win the Super Bowl...elite defense and enough playmakers on offense if they can get hot. Plus they own Josh Allen and the Bills so there's really no one left for them to be scared of now that KC is out
Might not even be the best team in their division

They are good though

For sure. I just don’t understand it. Next year is going to be more of the same especially with Christmas being on a Friday they’re probably going to spread the slate all across the weekend again smh

They been doing saturday games since 1988

I don’t trust the Jags at all. They are hot and that counts for a lot, but mid season people were talking about Lawrence being on the edge of bust status

I think Allen is gonna turn it on.

But you’re right. We’ll have to see the matchups and watch for any crazy injury situations that develop

The NFL has been doing Saturday games for years. As far back as the late 80’s. If not before.
They always waited until the college games were over as to not directly compete to take away the fans from the college games.

However now since college has games going into late December with all the bowl games and playoffs. It is not the NFL’s fault they now have these games.

That’s a good point. Just feel like it diminishes the product personally when it’s a marathon from Thursday to Monday. Probably doesn’t help that a lot of these games looked better on paper at the beginning of the season compared to what we got based on the situation of the teams
