Jerry said that he doesn't want anyone here who doesn't want to be. Well, Jerry, thousands/millions of Dallas fans really don't want YOU here anymore.
We would like you to sell this team and buy another "toy" to play with.

Saturday is wrong. He is assuming Jerry doesn't know what he wants to do with McCarthy. Jerry does. And has for a while now.

We've all known for years it doesn't matter what diarrhea mouth Jerry says. What matters is what he does.
Bingo.

He will sit back, do nothing, then say “well shucks , looks like all of the young promising coaches were plucked clean all while McCarthy was under contract Guess we will just keep him and water down the roster even more!”

But as much as I dont like Jerry and his impact on us, Jerry said if someone didnt want to be here then it would let them talk. But MM stated he absolutely wanted to be here. So if he denied them access which is well within his contractual means at the moment, bc they are trying to work out something then why is Jerry in the wrong? If something happens and no contract is worked out after they failed negotiations. I dont see an issue with that either bc MM can still go interview where he wants. So, I feel like some of this is being blown out of proportion. If Jerry has absolutely no interest in bringing him back, okay I understand. If he is being petty I understand. But maybe Jerry is trying to keep him there and he was cut out the outside noise to use his exclusive window for that purpose. Like I get it, its Jerry and he doesnt always make sense but if MM comes back and has a contract then everyone was wrong in their assumption just bc he didnt want tip his hand.

and I agreed but there were various reports he wanted to resign him but others in the organization didnt feel the same. So, I can understand if there is a longer process. It could be debates about him returning, under what means 1-2-3 years, playcalling or not bc if I am a guy who isnt in support of being him back. I am like if we bringing him back for 1 year - he cant have a new playcaller, and if we are giving him multiple years then look at the past playoff success. I get what you are saying but I feel like its other things that still have to be accounted for bc its obvious its a divide. Everyone not on the same page and they just stalling this out.

ultimately it's jerry's choice, and we all wouldn't be surprised that Jerry keeps him

Jerry negotiated this waiting a week after the season clause for a reason. He wants to gauge league wide interest in MM before making him an offer. It's the smart thing to do. Jerry needs to know if he's negotiating against himself, as usual, or if this is a bidding war.

He allowed Zeke to talk because he was going to get rid of him. Jerry wants McCarthy back.

it is but also - Johnny manzel was Jerry’s choice and we drafted Zack Martin . The fact is if there’s doubt and he is listening and not being impulsive then he is actually doing gis job better than we credit him for.

MM will be back with the cowboys, Jerry is just negociating better terms. I don't see a way where jerry hires another coach at this stage. MM is the perfect obedient and low noise coach that Jerry covets.
Worse terms. If Mike hits free agency on the 14th he will have more negotiating leverage and the closer it gets the more leverage goes to Mike. I bet the bears would pay more than 6/year.
