Is the net effect of this game to lessen the gravity of the Cowboys loss to GB? Now, the world saw GB play SF to the end in a dog fight and almost come away with the victory. So, now the narrative shifts to everyone totally underestimated GB baes on their experience level. How many times did we hear everyone is a 1 or 2 year player? It obviously means nothing. Perhaps GB coaching deserves even more high praise for getting the most out of its young players? Regardless, the cowboys went up against a legit contender and got smoked. 9 - 8 GB meant diddly squat. They figured it out in the end. We can kind of dismiss the idea that the cowboys didn’t show up. They got whipped by a superior team who played to their highest ability. Now, maybe if they played like one would expect a cowboys team to play with 1 to 2 year players, we would have had a chance. Coaching may have a lot more to do with it than anything. Our game plans on both sides of the ball stunk. We all saw it. It just feels the cowboys are now at least partially “off the hook”. But, next season will tell us all we need to know. The team should have an Empire State building size chip on their shoulder. The problem is that doesn’t necessarily help us as motivation doesn’t mean wins.

It won't matter. Dak is gonna Dak it up no matter what the plan is. The only real game plan to win doesn't include Dak.
