Interesting. Was she light-skinned and kinda tall? I know he's married to a former LSU basketball player.

yes she was. she was a nice lookin red-boned chick. it's funny because i live in the las colinas/valley ranch area and see our guys all the time here. happened to be shopping for a new car at a honda dealership in the the uptown area and we decided to stop for a bite and there they come in. they left though, i didn't notice they had gotten their food to go.

Based on the pics I've seen, sounds like her. I do think she's very pretty. He did well for himself.

Yeah, I know you probably see them quite a bit. You and mickgreen seem to always see them in some of the most random spots.

I think mick got a pic of T-new at a subway or something.

i live North of San Antonio apparently close to where a lot of Spurs live i see Spurs all the time. I regularly see Duncan and Robinson at my HEB and others like Bowen, Parker, Elliott, and Horry at some of the restaurants in the area.

I just leave them alone. They seem like cool people but unless we make eye contact walking by, i don't say anything to them and even then its just a simple "hey." I treat them like i would any other random person out there.

I love the San Antonio area. I was set to move down there, when I was 19, before I met this woman. Nearly 9 years later and we're still together and I'm no where near San Antonio. Curse my luck. :p

Its not bad. The people are generally nice especially around where I live.

I know a lot of people complain about it but ive lived in places like Iowa and Kentucky and i tell them you have it great here.

i still prefer Austin though of all the cities in Texas.

Funny thing is, he doesn't want to hang out with you.

I'm sure he'd rather hang out with someone who saw him as another guy as opposed to someone riding his jock like a groupie because he's a celebrity athlete.

THAT is not cool.
That is feminine.

I'm secure enough to say that Demarcus Ware is way cooler than I am........and not because he has a Corvette or sunglasses......because I have both those things as well.

It's mostly because he's a celebrity athlete who is the best defensive player on my favorite team of all time.

That makes him pretty much the coolest person I can think of besides David Lee Roth.

"jamming with his shades on, in a convertible corvette" = cool cowboy?

what are you 5 years old, living in 1987?
was he playing some radical tunes in his hot sportscar?

I like D. Ware but wearing sunglasses cause it's sunny and driving a nice car when you're rich does not a "cool" person make.

What you meant to say was, "good post, thanks for sharing."

I would say the same, since I lived in pretty much all the major cities in Texas, except for Houston. Been there tons of times though, would never want to live in such a muggy place though.

But boy both Austin and San Antonio went through tremendous changes in last 10 years.

I bet you wake up every morning, look in the mirror and say to yourself, god my life sucks.

This simple post speaks volumes.

I don't think the OP was inferring that DWare is cool because of his wealth, celebrity, etc.

I'm sure he used the term cool - because DWare is one of the best players on our team - and that he saw him and thought it was 'cool.'

He was sharing his experience.

I'm sorry your life is miserable - that doesn't mean you have to let people know of your misery.

Just take the post for what it is.

OP saw one of our football players and thought he was a cool dude...

kthxbai...

I'll pick whichever one I think is the nicest, regardless of position in society.
