Eli Mannings pregame "pep-talk" was "Get on these guys early because they don't know how to play from behind!!" I guess that he doen't know that the Cowboys have been known all season as a second half team.

Of the games so far this season, at halftime, we have been tied or down in 5 out of 9. Of those we won 4 of 5. You would think that after praticing and watching film all week to prepare for the game, he would know this.

And how could you not think about making a comment like this if you watched the Buffalo game?

It's Eli Manning that you are talking about, .. what's the surprise?

You act like it was someone who knows what to say, someone that the team would listen to, or someone that is a leader.

It's only doofus dumbface!

:laugh2:

:bang2: :bang2: Eli, well have you ever seen that look on his face?
I cannot even picture him giving a pregame pep talk, I wonder how many guys were snickering. LOL

Imagine how he felt after halftime when Coughlin reminded them that Dallas is a second half team

We just started scoring points in the first quarter, so coming from behind is no problem for us:bang2:

Guess it's a good thing we were never behind then.
We were behind briefly when the score was 14-10 Giants in middle of 2nd quarter.

Yea, I just kinda always get the impression, it's more the 2nd half being referred to when I hear that "raa raa" statement.

But thks to both for the correction.

What he really meant was,"Let's don't get behind, because we'll never keep up."

San Diego must be extremely thankful he behaved like a brat on draft day, he's only a famous last name away from being Ryan Leaf 2.0

My boss is a huge Giants fan and owes me some $$$ from the thumpin the Boys put on his scrub team.
Anyway he says Eli always has this look on his face like somebody farted and he's trying to figure out who it was. How can you take a guy who looks like that serious?

Actually right now SD might be regretting not having Manning the way Rivers is stinking it up.

Actually I don't think Eli is too smart. Now don't get me wrong, any QB starting for an NFL is smart but there are degrees and he's no Peyton Manning. And he certainly isn't any Tony Romo whose extremely smart which is part (along with his natural talent) of the reason he progressing so fast. Romo really studies game film & you better believe he wouldn't say any dumb stuff like Eli does.

It's funny reading one of the Giants fan forum when they trying to vouch for Eli. Day after we beat them, many fans were very critical of Eli saying Romo was so much better, etc. Other fans were really sticking up for Eli saying OL played poorly, his WRs were injuried and didn't get open, defense stank, etc. Only fault on Eli were delay of game penalties. Yet before the game they claimed their WRs great, etc. Must be hard for any fan to justify constantly their QBs performance in such a light that nothing is ever Eli's fault.
