I agree with you, cbz. I'm right there with you.
We were dying a slow death with Bledsoe. Oh, he'd win us eight or nine games. But we'll get nowhere near the playoffs with this guy.
It's not like we're crying over one or two mistakes. Bledsoe is consistently displaying the same mistakes. It's time to move on, for better or worse.
Frankly, I expected Romo to play one of his better efforts in a game off the bench simply because the defense would be unprepared. Hopefully, I'm wrong and he can move forward.
With that said, we're now in rebuilding mode because we KNOW we can't get to where we want to go with Bledsoe leading the way. Maybe Romo can take us there. 99% chance he can't and won't, but we need to find out what we have in him before making a quarterback committment next offseason.
If Romo's the guy, great. Maybe we compete this year, or at the least, finally find our "guy." If not, then we move forward and make the necessary moves next offseason. Either way, we finally got a definitive answer with Bledsoe.
