That helped their WR's.
Ya know, year after year it's the same thing with this team...No pass rush...inability to force turn overs.
Well, Bledsoe forces turnovers but that's a different story.

Good Gosh...in 2003, you do all out blitzes and make Roy hell on wheels with a rookie corner and Mario Edwards but in 2006, with Newman, Henry, Glenn to name a few in the secondary you just play soft gushy coverages.
I feel like Derrick Beckles .

Doesn't he get knocked for vanilla schemes? He has said himself that they don't do a lot of stunts/etc.
He claims he sticks his nose in everything. If the defense is that conservative, it has to reflect on Parcells as much as Zimmer.

Roy hasn't been the same player since his rookie season. That's just a fact. He had an impact play EVERY game back then.
Not so any longer.
mickgreen58 said:I have to disagree with you. He was a monster last year...I cant count how many solid tackles and forced fumbles the guy had. There was a good article about Williams written in the DMN and it put Roy up against the best Safeties in the league and he was strong.
He even had an interception today.
And also, in that article Roy talked about being disappointed that he doesnt get to move around alot like Troy P. but understood that is not how our defense is here in dallas.
His impact is strong and he doesnt get unleashed like some of the other safeties in the league.
The sad part about today was that Bledsoe threw at least 2 interceptions and was not under any pressure.

Henry got smoked today and TNew gave up more than his usual receptions also.TwoSteppinJJ said:Leftwich was threading the needle and had a fair amount of time to throw most of the game. I dont think our DB's played that bad...
