I've not posted much this season, at the beginning of the year I was quite upset with our coach, our OC, our lack of focus, and for the 12th year in a row, with Jerry Jones. But I just read the JJT article on Jerry Jones over at the DMN site and I must admit, the guy does deserve some credit. I have cussed his name for about 3/4 of the season, but as of late, it is obvious that the man has done something right somewhere along the way.
I don't know about the rest of you guys, but as for me, I hold the Cowboys organization to a VERY HIGH standard from top to bottom. Like the Yankees, I expect a championship EVERY year. Much less a freaking playoff win. The foundation that was built by Landry, and Staubach, and Dorsett, and all the early stars, then Jimmy J, Aikman, Emmitt, and Irvin...I expect nothing but the best. Losing to Denver and the Midgets twice in the same year is not acceptable. An unfocused Romo is unacceptable. A bumbling Wade or Jason G. is not acceptable. 12 years without a playoff win is not acceptable.
But, here we are. Looking every bit the Super Bowl quality team, hotter than hell going into Minnesota. I credit every single person in the organization for the turnaround, from Phillips to Romo, to the night shift janitor. And I'll say "that a boy" Jerry....How bout them Cowboys? :starspin
