Saw my favorite play when Larry Allen pulled and stoned Greg Lloyd!

Watching it since the start. Novacek was on FIRE in the 1st half.

That kickoff didn't help matters to start the 2nd half. :banghead:

I wanted to punt Dick Enberg in the throat watching this game.

The offense was very lethargic, almost completely stagnant, in the second half. It seems Pearlman's accounts of all night parties may have some truth to them.

I was watching the game ( originally ) at my brothers house & he had a few buddies there, one of which was a 49ers fan. When the Steelers got within 3 points, he started chuckling "ha ha. Cowboys gonna lose." A 2nd Neil O'Donnell INT to Larry Brown later we ALL had a good laugh at his expense. :lmao:

Yeah, it was a real ballsy play by Cowher. Caught us completely off guard.

That wasn't our best effort although the D got it going.

I dunno. If the refs never called that pass interference on Irvin (and it was indeed a pass interference), it's a blowout in our favor because we would have went up 17-0 early and killed their spirits.

It's funny how you win a Superbowl by double digits, and then are largely considered the inferior team by the media...

I remember thinking at the time that the Steelers should have stuck with their power running game .... it was working for them.

You can feel the disapointment in the voices of the CBS announcers.

Yeah I heard it too. It was actually NBC. But when Larry intercepted the ball and Emmitt scored, they went very quiet.

Ha. Woodson slammed his hat on the ground in disgust and he's held that loss in him ever since against the Cowboys. :laugh1:
