SB makes it clear, what the Cowboys need this offseason!

I don't care if they come through the draft or via FA, we need these high priority position targets filled this off season.

Offense in order of importance:
O-line, WR, RB

We need to continue with the O-line rebuild. Tyler was a great start but OT is still the highest priority. A new OG is also needed as Martin won't be here forever. I feel as if we can ride with Tyron at RT and Peters as the swing LT/LG for another season, as long as we have some quality depth behind and around them. Will Steele and Waletzko come back healthy enough to compete?
It's obvious that a new #2 WR is needed badly. To me Lamb is still best as a slot, but whatever we can get to complement him will be a plus. Will MG come back to form and be a great #3?
Zeke's contract is such that now is the time that he should be released. And unless you're going to roll with Davis as the bell cow back, we need another one. TP is the lighting but needs to have the thunder as a partner.

Defense in order importance:
CB, DT, LB or Edge

Bland was a find that we needed but Joseph is a bust. If we lose Brown we absolutely have to have a new starting caliber CB. If we lose Lewis as well we will need another to be the primary back up.
I don't think our DT's were nearly as bad as many on here but I agree they need to be better and an upgrade would certainly help.
If Parsons is going to rush 90% of the time then we need another MLB. If he's going back to hybrid role, we need another DE who rush.
Barr was ok but showing his age. LVE is up and down and oft injured. Clarke looks to be a keeper but Cox? Really we know nothing about his progress.
Offense is where the real work is needed, but we cannot neglect finishing our defense-still need another starting CB and have to address stop the run more consistently, if that's DT so be it.

The #1 thing we need to do is beat Philly: stop the run, protect Dak, run the ball. To me that means get a stud DT, a stud LT/LG and a coupla WR who run good routes and separate.
Think the defense is more about tweaking then a major overhaul. Must fix the run defense first and then think about adding a legitimate starting corner to team up with Diggs/Bland. Don't want to create more additional holes which is why I would like both Lve, Wilson back.

Offensive Needs-#2 WR, TE, RB, G/T. Realistically they can address all these needs if either WR or the OL gets addressed via fa. TE/RB class is very deep and he be found later in the draft.

Defensively-#2 CB or Slot, NT. Don't want to create any additional holes do I would like to see both Lve, Wilson signed and bring back Hankins. Add another NT via fa and draft a high level corner.

Head into the draft needing-CB, G/T or WR, TE, RB and depth later on.

Do you feel he completes the position?
The answer to both questions is No. Hankins is not under contract, and no just Hankins and Osa is not nearly enough to feel good about DT. Gholston, Gallimore, and Bohanna don’t me feel any better either. We need more help even if Hankins is brought back. He and Osa are both rotational players.

I like Greg Gaines, but the Rams probably retain him

I’d love to see us bring Hanks back as a backup NT and sign Payne / Tomlinson as the starter.

With Osa, and potentially Gholston getting more snaps at 3T a decent mix of run stuffing and pass rush:

What's your thoughts on A'Shaun Robinson from the Rams, he is an excellent run defender?

I had no idea he was a FA. If so, great backup option to Payne if he’s good. I didn’t follow him so no idea.

If Payne is too expensive, give me Tomlinson or Robinson.

We all know they have to use fa and the trade market to supplement the draft. Hearing Jerry at the Senior Bowl, we may change the way we have done things, especially when you draft busts like Joseph that sets you back. Tolbert is in the same category.
Do "we" all know that? Because I have read many in here who have regurgitated the Jones's nonsense on relying on the draft for improvement.

Name the gms that won 25 games in the last 2 years.
Since you appear to be counting playoff wins for the Cowboys to reach 25, I'll go with Brett Veach, John Lynch, Brandon Beane, Mike Brown and Howie Roseman.

Name the GM who still has a job after 27 straight years without making it to a conference championship game?

Also, when do they hand out the 25-wins-in-2-years trophy? And is it a big trophy?

The proof is in the pudding how teams that are most aggressive are the ones in the championship games. Either they change or will get similar results

Even the Chiefs…got aggressive and took a flyer on a high end talent in Toney and he had a TD and a massive punt return in the super bowl.

Everyone points to letting Hill go - but they’ve continued to add at the WR position. Toney and a high draft pick in Moore.

Build a team to attack and defend the Eagles. Because despite their # of Free Agents, they ain’t going nowhere. This team drafts well, but they basically do nothing in FA or by way of trades. That can’t continue if they hope to take another step.

-Both OL's were elite, perhaps the best 2 lines in the entire league.
-Need a mismatch TE in the passing game, Goedert really impressed me and Kelce is the best in the business.
-Elite #2 WR, Devonta Smith lit up the Chiefs secondary all night, despite his lack of size. Need a corner to match up with his speed/quickness.
-Have to be able to effectively run the football (Chiefs ran over 150 yards last night)

OL, WR, TE, RB, CB-this is the focus in no particular order.
That’s a lot in one off-season. To hit on four positions. But damn right I agree

Agree. Gotta get guys and figure out a scheme that can stop the RPO bc the Eagles will be tough to beat for a while.

Remember how hard it was to run against the rams during their sb run, many believe Robinson was a big part of that

Along with 2 good fa’s at the position

The point is they are good now.
