Feels like it would be for a backup QB, as I I'm not sure there will be any position players Dallas is looking at that will cost much more than the minimum.

I'd like to hope they have a DE on their shopping list too but they seem hell bent on pushing through their plan of having an opening day defensive end depth chart that has nothing but projects on it.

Over the cap had them at 4.7m under. With Scandrick and Lee moves, we should be around 7.5m under. Davis really shouldn't cost more than a net hit of about 500k if signed.
