As much as I hate to see Scandrick riding pine vs. a tough opponent, it's obviously for the best to protect his availability in game one. When all is said and done, this is only a preseason upcoming game with Seattle, while the one that's looming vs. New York will be crucial to regular season success. The trade-off is well worth the initial sacrifice. It's best to err on the side of caution -- hopefully, he'll be fully healed and ready by then. Thankfully, it's been classified as a strain as opposed to a pull . . . big difference there.
