Scandrick... please, go away

Scandrick had a sack/fumble recovery/return for a TD (he wasn't touched when he was on the ground with the ball) called back because of a horrible, phantom, hands to the face penalty on Jenkins, and now Scandrick is a bum?

I don't think I have seen anyone on the team get beat with as many perfect throws as Scandrick has. He will be fine.

24 hours ago we were talking about how dominant our corners are. 24 hours later Scandrick is a bust. Let's settle down guys. Scandrick is fine. He screwed up. A couple of times. He's at the right place and he has good coverage he just made some boneheaded decisions.

Scan just had a bad game. He is a much better player than what you saw today. Those penalties he was getting did start grating on me at about the 4th one.

I just know he is better than that. He has shown it.

Im ok w/ Scandrick.

I agree, bad game but the upside to Scandrick is high. Hate the loss as a fan but don't hate on a player that had a bad game besides lots of others contributed to the loss other than Scandrick, dare I say a collective team effort.

Jenkins did have hands to the face. The replay I saw showed it anyway.

I think he had 2 of those hands to the face penalties during game?

My how the mighty has fallen. Scandrick was everybody's favorite about 5 weeks ago. Jenkins has played lights out and Scandrick has struggled, although he is usually in position. Just like that, Scandrick is a bum.

Relax..he was never all that mighty with me...i just liked him...didn't think he was all star

Scandrick is not great and never will be. He is mediocre.

A 5th round pick only 26 games into his career.

Maybe we ought to cut him a little slack before we decide how good he will or won't be.

im not gonna scream for him to be cut after 1 bad game. so much overreaction on this board.

he has shown he has talent. hes still young and will only get better. he has doen well in the nickle but he has got to play better when giving the opportunity to man one of the starting spots

Actually Flo is the most penalized and he got whipped by Matthews all day. Scandrick is not great and never will be. He is mediocre. If you call average or mediocre fine, then I guess you're right.

Never said Scandrick would be great. I said he would be fine, and he will be. Just a few weeks ago everyone here was convinced he was better than Jenkins and now all the sudden he is terrible. He will be fine.

And actually Flo is not the most penalized, though I will give you he is up there, and it should be fixed (and has been improved this year). He has also been to the pro-bowl 5 out of the last 6 years and the only reason he was not there 6/6 was because of an injury. Furthermore, if you will remember, if you were even a fan back then, in 05 he went down and was out the second half of the season. Everyone rejoiced b/c finally false start flo was out and we could get a real LT in there. We were 4-2 at the point he went out and finished 9-7. Bledsoe was sacked almost twice as much/game the rest of the season after Flo was out. Sure, maybe flo has lost a step or two, but he is still in the top 10 for sure and top 5 arguably in the league. The penalties are frustrating and he had a terrible day today, but he goes up against the opposing teams best pass rusher week in and week out and the only time you here his name called is usually on False starts and not missing his assignment (though he clearly missed one tonight) BTW he is averaging less than 1 false start per game this year, if our team, or coaching staff made as few of mistakes we would be golden. It is really easy to criticize him because 1) you won't get a bunch of people that will argue (the sheep love to cry about flow for reason number 2) and 2) he will still be there (because there is no better option (hard to have a better option than an all pro tackle)) so you can not be proven wrong. So let me go ahead and just tell you. Anyone that thinks Adams is doing a poor job is flat out wrong. He is a beast and its a shame some of you can't see that.
