I like the way Scandrick makes a play on the ball. He has an aggressive style of play in that he isn't just defending the pass but is also making a play on the ball. That mindset lends itsself to turnovers, which has been historically lacking over the past few years.

he probably has two picks last night if colston doesn't stick his hand out last second to deflect the pass.

This is why I'm advocating for Asante Samuel, he plays with the same style and it does affect a QB. Especially when he has already thrown a pick.

Had Brees pump faked and went deep on the first throw he jumped on it would've gone for 6. Despite that I was happy he did that. Making a QB pump fake gives our lineman a shot at getting the QB.,

Yes, I thought he had a chance at that ball, but the ball deflected away from him rather than in his vicinity. At least he was thinking aggressively.

Except Ashanti can't play lol. With him it was take risks or get beat deep. I'm not a fan of corners like that. Janoris Jenkins is the same way. Scandrick isn't like that. Scandrick doesnt' take risks every play.

I've never seen Scandrick play this instinctive.

Jumping routes, timing his blitzes perfectly, coming up to make tackles in zone coverage at 100 MPH. He's looked like Earl Thomas lite so far.

I still think he's an a-hole, but he's a talented a-hole.

I think Scandrick sees the entire field when he's playing, great instincts, vision, glad we kept him, he's playing great.

Asante doesnt fit here. He is easily beaten, not physcial and dallas use to destroy him. He is known to be a ballhawk but how many plays are you willing to give up for that 1 int?

When did Scandrick turn into his guy? He's been good for a while, but this guy looks like a flat out star. Something about him this year-- he just exudes confidence and totally looks the part, and that's before he even makes a play. Scandrick is kind of a big deal right now.

Anyone else seeing this, or is it just me?

It's not just you. He turned into this version a couple of summers ago but now it's translating onto the field.

Graham also saved a pick too, Brees's night could have gotten a lot more ugly than it was.
