I'd assumed ACLs, but couldn't find it when I looked. Two ACLs aren't good, obviously. But at least an ACL-repaired knee, once rehabbed can come back stronger than it was before it broke.

My worry about Watt is more the weight and the fact that WIS guys don't often get the NFL weight room bump other players can get. I do like the idea of getting a physical specimen at a discount because of his inexperience and then handing him over to Marinelli to work on his fundamentals, since that's pretty much what Marinelli does.
Yup, that is kinda the conundrum.
He's a beast physically and tested off the charts.
The knee is certainly doing it's job now.
But you do worry if a guy has injuries at 225 how he's gonna handle 255-260 and 300 pounders diving at his legs.

I'm sure he has had skill training galore given his brother is a stud DL and he knows what it takes.
But like you, I'd like him to be a value and not overpay for a "brand" name.

Reality is at 28 you are taking some risks or settling for lower ceilings. Watt does appear to have a very high ceiling.
