I agree with your football takes JT but anyone who condones beating up a 4 year old --- A 4 YEAR OLD, on the premise that it was done to them is pathetic in my book

I would rec keeping the politics out of your football posts

we find our way to agreement and no kidding

AP has spent his entire career losing. I think if he were to come here it would be with the understanding that he's going to make financial sacrifices for the betterment of the team and his legacy. You don't just call Jerry Jones asking for job and then play hardball at the negotiating table. He's going to make a sacrifice.

I know Florio is pushing the Dallas trade scenarios this morning for clicks but there's no way we're taking on that contract. $12.75 million in 2015, $14.75 million in 2016, and $15.75 million in 2017 AND Murray AND a 2nd rounder? They should just be happy we're taking on that contract TBH.

Really. Mr. "Modern day slavery" gonna make a financial sacrifice?

I highly doubt that...........

I don't really have all the details on the AP situation, in large part, because I too was disciplined in this manner as a child. I have questions on the age of the child, 4 is a little young IMO, but I really can't say that I have a problem with a parent using a switch. Of course, anything can be taken too far but I don't know that this situation represents that. Switches leave marks, that's why you use them.

The football stuff, I'm right there with you. We will have to see what Dunbar's role is moving forward. If you get him into the open field on a flair or a screen, he can do damage I think. We didn't really do that much so lets see how it develops. I don't know what William's groin injury situation is at this point so perhaps there is time but I'm a big fan of Williams. Any scenario in which the result ends in Williams on the roster, I'm probably in favor of.

Can we cover a TE - even when we know the ball is going to him????
Witten was handling a fast outside rusher.
Free not good to start but as game progressed played better.
Where were all the flags on us ..... Improvement.
FG's - Automatic.
Romo still rusty - needs that escape step back.

Mo Claiborne absolutely shut down whatever man he covered yesterday. I hate he eats credit for that long TD to Walker because Church is the safety over the top that MUST make that tackle, not the CB. Anyone blasting Mo for that performance yesterday I will automatically ignore as being football dumb. The Titans have a very solid WR corps and it really never got anything.

Around the 3rd Q I definitely found myself thinking, "Is Mo actually playing really well?"

Some of that might be the Titans QB and WRs possessing a similar lack of experience/savvy vs a more veteran player like Boldin. But it didn't feel like he was scrambling to just survive and his technique/positioning/reaction seemed pretty good to me. He seemed under control. In fact, this was maybe the first game where it felt like the secondary was comprehending the coverage responsibilities of the Kiffin/Marinelli defense.
