Heh, after this sad and disgusting season, I find myself finding weird reasons for who to root for and who to root against. I was happy to see the Colts lose because they were so hot winning like 9 in a row or something like that and having one of the Manning brothers. Sheesh I could not stomach a Manning v Manning superbowl. (can you imagine the Indy fan forum sites tonite?)
So...I was rooting for SD. Hey they are similar to the Cowboys in various ways, mainly in the underachieving area. And heck, we had a better record then them. So they're my team now, (unless I get finicky and decide I don't like Rivers or LT).
Now, I just need Pittsburgh, Philly and NE to lose. (oh yeah NE didn't make the playoffs just like us, and neither did SF).
I could root for Tennessee since they used to be the oilers, but I don't know, that's been a while now.
Let's go Minnesota!!!!!!
and by the way, I don't know if Shanahan is really the answer. Think about why he was fired. Sounds like Denver had the same kind of "success" that Dallas has had the last 10 years.
