Schedule after Jets is difficult

WE would have a come to Jesus stretch of wins that no one expects to make the playoffs. Starting against the Jets...we would need to reel off like 5 in a row and then some. THE NFC is very good this year, outside of the east.

With a healthy roster we'd win 12 games.
We obviously do NOT have that so 10 is probably about right.

Eagles are woefully thin in some areas and have 2 losses already.
They are very beatable for us but the split seems likely.

Bears are a W.
Jets are a W.
Skins are a W.

Giants without without Eli prolly still a W but bears focus.

NE is going to outcoach us.

Lions are anyone's guess. They play enoghdefense to beat us.

Minny is interesting but we have more talent.

This team needs Antwaun Woods back and Tryon Smith back badly.
The general lack of TE talent shows up when OTs need help because we can't give it.

we are not sniffing the playoffs this year. Too many better teams in the NFC. Cardinals are better than we are. THE NFC WEST IS DYNAMIC AND DEEP.
LOL. dude, get a grip. The Cards are NOT better than us. Not even close.
The NFC is not that deep by any means.
3 teams in the NFC have 4 wins. 0 have 5 wins.
Dallas has played and lost to two of those three teams.
They don't play the 3rd.

DAL plays a lot of teams with the same 3-2 record they have that for soem reason our fanbase feels are great teams while our 3-2 is trash.
LOL.

The Jets are very, very bad so DAL is almost certainly going to go to 4-2.
I will make a very meaingful game versus PH to end the first half the season.
A win and you are back amongst the elite teams in the league. 5-2 and a BYE week before the rebuilding Giants.

The Cards should have beaten the Ravens..they pushed them to the limit. We cannot match up. UNLESS things make a sudden change, I see at best...8-8...AT WORST 6-10.

The Cards won't win 5 games.
The are legit trash. Their 1 win came versus an 0-5 team.
They do play hard but are pretty bad all over the place and rebuilding.

Take a look at this:

Eagles, Vikings, Lions, Patriots, Bills, Bears, Rams and Eagles among the next nine opponents. Those teams have a combined 20-10-1 record.

Recalibrating after 5 weeks it now looks rather glim. Rams and Pats you can almost book as a loss. Eagles we at least lose one. Probably split the rest if we are lucky.

Looking like a 8-8 type season more every week that passes. I would have found that hard to believe in training camp.

The issues with Smith and Collins certainly dont help.

Will this really be the last season of Garrett? Personally I find it very hard to believe he will ever be fired.

The only team on that schedule that I think is flat out better than us is the Pats. All of the others have shown themselves to be good but flawed, just like us.

I don't know why I'm going to torture myself but, oh well,

We should beat the Jets to get us to 4-2.
We'll likely split with the Eagles as we generally do. That's 5 wins.
The Lions are beatable even though they look like they've improved. That's 6.
The Bills don't have that great an offense even if they have a good defense. That's 7.
We've still got to play the Skins and Giants, which should be wins 8 and 9.
We'd have to steal one from the Vikings, Patriots, Rams and Bears.
We're NOT beating the Patriots in Foxboro. Great coach and Great quarterback our kryptonite. Just pencil this in as a loss.
The Bears don't have an offense, but their defense is great. Dak hasn't seen pressure like the pressure the Bears bring. Loss.
We could steal one from the Vikings because of Kirk Cousins. But Aaron Jones gashed us and Davin Cook is better than Jones. Loss.
The Rams don't have a healthy Gurley. I don't think they're the same team as last year. Win.
We get to 10-6, but I don't know if that will do it. I think the Eagles will take the division. That means the Cowboys will be vying for a wildcard spot with the Packers, Bears and Vikings (whichever one doesn't win the division), the Panthers (who seem to be coming on strong) and the Seahawks, 49ers (who I expect to fade down the stretch) and the Rams (whichever doesn't win the division). We may lose many head-to-head tiebreakers.

But let see how it plays out.

Gurley is plenty healthy buddy. They just have him on a pitch count and are saving him for the playoffs.

I dont think the bills are the pushover you say they are. Defense is almost as good as the Bears. We could easily lose to the Lions. They actually have a defense that can get after it. Did a good number on the Chiefs.

Philly split is no certainty and the Giants are a better team with the rookie QB and Barkley should be plenty healthy by then.

I think 10 wins would be the high water mark. 8 wins if things continue to go poorly and 11 wins is a reach.

You're entitled to your opinion. Mine is a prediction. I could very well be wrong and probably will be. My prediction isn't etched in stone.

I "finally" think we rid are selves of Carrot. Their is a reason why JJ didn't resign him yet. Most think JJ believed that he had finally built a team that could compete now for a SB. As you point out the schedule, its plausible Carrots gone before the end of the season. Maybe like a Wade type situation.

I guess we'll see if this te can bounce back..

The biggest games for us are the two Eagles games.. we need to win both of them now.

If the lions that played the chiefs last week and in the home stadium, we are beat. Sorry there D will be all over Dak and after 2 series the kindergarten kid will abandon the run and throw 40 plus passes.

Good. The schedule should be. If Dallas can't get through these teams then there's no point. Championship teams get through tough teams.

I love how everybody thinks playing the Bears at Soldier's Field is an auto W.

Besides the giants and skins the schedule looks really rough after the last 2 weeks.
